Bio:

GW2754-Maggie.jpgMaggie is the daughter of a UWS airforce Colonel who used his connections to get her stashed in the hypersleep chambers at Research Facility 11 in the last years of WWIV. Massive stealth field generators concealed the base from Combine forces for several years. The base was discovered and mostly destroyed by orbital bombardment shortly before the final apocalypse. The remaining survivors were slaughtered by bio-genetic experiments that escaped confinement during a power outage. Fortunately the well protected cold-storage facility survived along with a number of stow-aways from the 27th century.

Colonel Hatch’s daughter was a serious delinquent, constantly in trouble with the authorities at Dome City 14 (Yarkaz) for petty crimes including shoplifting, black-marketeering and gambling. Maggie’s father enrolled her in a boarding school where she picked up some meager computing skills. He also taught her how to fly and shoot, two things she would always be better at. Maggie has significant VR training time in several Shadow-Years aircraft including VTOLs, but negligible real-world flight time.

Maggie is the lucky beneficiary of certain heritable bio-genetic modifications added to the human genome during the Shadow Years in an attempt to safeguard the human race from even greater disasters down the lineā€¦a precaution that would prove prescient. Everyone currently alive, humans and mutants alike, are the beneficiaries of modifications providing incredible resistance to wounds and of course ability to withstand a toxic and radioactive environment that would surely kill unmodified humans.
